In 2006, while I was working in South India, a cerebral edema in my brain popped. After experiencing intense pain, I could clearly identify, on an unknown level of consciousness, the perception of my body being disconnected from my mind. My body had to struggle to stay alive, losing basic analytical functions such as speaking and remembering my name. My sense of self was gone.   This level of consciousness switched automatically on Pranayama and did the breathing work itself.  The energy of the Prana, the Life Force working in the body, saved my life.   Experimenting with the power of the Prana took me to explore Yoga Nidra.

Who can practice Yoga Nidra?

Everyone can practice Yoga Nidra regardless of their age, state of health, culture, heritage, and religion.

You will benefit from the practice of Yoga Nidra if you suffer from:

  • Chronic pain

  • Chronique fatigue

  • syndrome Anxiety Restlessness

  • PTSD ( Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder) or stress-related disorders

Regular practice of Yoga Nidra is a healthy habit that rests, restores and renews the body mind and spirit. offering the opportunity to process and release the accumulated stress and tension that cause physical and mental illness. Yoga Nidra helps you maintain your vital energy, improve your sleep, your mood, and even prevent illness. When you are struggling with chronic pain, fatigue or stress of any kind, any little challenge can make you feel like you're going to collapse and crumble. it is at this time that you need to reconnect with yourself, your breath, and your environment. Yoga Nidra offers you a way to meet your everyday challenges with poise and balance while reconnecting you to your authentic Self. Yoga Nidra has been clinically shown to be one of the most powerful methods available to achieve this state without the use of chemical agents.
